These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to your use of the Jumble Eats mobile app and website. By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy.
1. What Jumble Eats does
Jumble Eats is a platform that connects you with restaurants near you. Through the app you can:
- order food for delivery to your location and track the order live;
- order food for pickup from the restaurant;
- book a table at a restaurant in advance; and
- scan the code on your table at a restaurant to view the menu and order without going to the counter.
The food is prepared by the restaurant. Each restaurant is responsible for the quality, quantity, hygiene, allergen information and legal compliance of the food it prepares.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- You sign in using your mobile number and a one-time password (OTP). Keep your phone and account secure; you are responsible for orders placed from your account.
- Please give accurate details, especially your name, phone number and delivery address.
3. Orders and prices
- Menu items, prices and availability are set by each restaurant and may change. The price shown when you place the order is the price you pay, including any taxes, packaging or delivery charges shown at checkout.
- An order is confirmed only when the restaurant accepts it. A restaurant may decline an order, for example if an item is unavailable or it is closing.
- Delivery times shown in the app are estimates and may vary due to traffic, weather or restaurant load.
4. Delivery and pickup
- Delivery: please be available at the delivery address and reachable on your phone. If the rider cannot reach you, the order may be treated as delivered or cancelled as described in our Refund Policy.
- Pickup: please collect your order within a reasonable time after you are told it is ready. Food left uncollected may be discarded.
5. Table bookings
- A booking reserves a table for the date, time and number of guests you choose, subject to the restaurant confirming it.
- Please arrive on time. Restaurants may release a table if you are significantly late.
- If your plans change, cancel the booking in the app so the table can be given to someone else.
6. Scan & order at the table
- Scanning a table code links your order to that table at that restaurant. Only scan the code on the table where you are seated.
- Payment for dine-in orders is made in the app or at the restaurant, as shown for that restaurant.
7. Payments
Online payments are processed by our payment partners. By paying online you also agree to their terms. Refunds, where applicable, are returned to the original payment method as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse Jumble Eats. This includes placing fake orders, abusing riders or restaurant staff, misusing offers or refunds, scanning codes to place orders for tables you are not at, or attempting to interfere with the app or its systems. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
9. Offers and promotions
Offers and coupons are subject to their own conditions, may be limited in time or quantity, and can be changed or withdrawn. They cannot be exchanged for cash.
10. Limitation of liability
Jumble Eats provides the platform that connects you with restaurants. To the extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for the food prepared by restaurants or for delays outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If you continue to use Jumble Eats after the updated Terms are published, you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
